The COVID pandemic certainly did a number on a lot of businesses... and a lot of people. Myself included.
So many businesses had to change the way they operated, change the way they communicated with clients, and how they delivered their services.
I followed up with one of my clients, a local non-profit called All Individuals First, and they have had to make a lot of changes.
Their clients are adults with special needs, and normally they come to their location downtown for a day program that involves lots of one-on-one attention, individualized activities and outings all over town.
The biggest and most frustrating change was that they could no longer have their clients come in to their facility.
I wrote an article for them that let people know what they do in the community, what kinds of challenges they have been facing during the pandemic, and what steps they are taking to move forward. You can read it here.
Whenever you experience a lot of change, it's easy to get overwhelmed and want to hunker down and wait for the storm to blow over.
But it's hard to get any momentum going that way, or find customers, supporters or donors.
As always, I think it's better to get the word out about what's happening in your business as often as possible.
If you...
.... Are adding any products or services
.... have hired anyone new
.... are planning on moving or adding to your business
.... just donated or volunteered
.... started doing things differently
.... or have ideas you want to share with your people
an article or a blog post is probably in order.
Let me know if you need help getting it down on paper. I generally start by having a brief phone conversation with you. My number is 505-515-7001.
